Wedding Reception at Benvenuto's

Dominique and Vincent Biancardi celebrated their wedding on 8/31/2012 at Benvenuto's Restaurant in Boynton Beach, FL.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church and the cocktail hour and reception followed soon after.  As the guests arrived they were treated to a cocktail hour that included drinks and plenty of appetizers.  Dominique and Vincent posed for pictures at the church and also took advantage of the beautiful picturesque courtyard at Benvenuto's for more pictures.  All 120 guests were then invited into the main ballroom for the grand entrance and reception.  I lined up the 26 member bridal party for the grand entrance and Dominique chose Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO as the entrance song.  The crowd was on their feet and cheering loudly as Dominique and Vincent entered the room for the first time as husband and wife.  They went right into the first dance which was 1000 Years by Christina Perri.  Soon after Thalia and Joseph (maid of honor and best man) made two short and sweet toasts then Dominique's dad made a very funny speech as he welcomed everyone and had some nice words for the happy couple.  Pastor Robbi gave the blessing of the meal, the first course was served and the night was underway.  Towards the end of the main course Dominique danced with her dad and Vincent danced with his mom to I Turn To You by Christina Aguilera.  Dominique provided me with a great song list that was perfect for her guests.  Vincent is of Italian descent and Dominique is of Puerto Rican descent so I mixed a lot of different styles of music that evening.  I played top 40, salsa, merengue, bachata, oldies, 80's dance and group dances (Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble and the Dougie).  The highlight of the evening was when it was time to have the bouquet toss.  Dominique and her girls (including her mom) performed a choreographed routine to Single Ladies by Beyonce that ended with Dominique tossing the bouquet.  That was a first for me!! After the garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting the dancing continued until the end.  The last songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and Glad You Came by The Wanted.  This was another awesome wedding with plenty of energy and an amazing crowd.  Congrats to Dominique and Vincent and the entire Biancardi and Lopez families!!!  Special thanks to the management and staff at Benvenuto's.  5 Star service always...what else is new!! DJ Ray
