Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the Wedding blog. On Saturday, Decemeber 16th,  I had the pleasure of being the DJ at Phil and Rochelle's wedding. It was held at the beautiful Benvenuto's  in Boynton Beach. This is a great venue and the service is excellent!

After the cocktail hour, I invited all of the guests into the main dining room. It was highlighted with Cyan Blue LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company. In the middle of the dance floor was a beautiful monagram projected with Phil and Rochelle's initials. It too was provided by Eddie B & Company.

 Once the guests were settled in, I lined the bridal party up and introduced them into the dining room. I was asked to play"Happy" by Pharell . Then Phil and Rochelle entered. The room erupted with applause!

I proceeded to invite them to the dance floor for the first dance "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton was their choice.  I then played a song for Rochelle to dance with her son. "Unforgettable" by Nat king Cole. The champagne was poured and it was time to say a few words. Phil welcomed everyone and stated how grateful he was to have everyone there on this momentous day. 

During dinner I played some oldies, R & B, and smooth tunes as requested by the bride and groom.

Once dinner was over, everyone was ready to get out and party, so that is exactly what they did! I played a lot of 70's 80's and top 40 as requested by Phil and Rochelle. They really loved the old tunes. It allowed all of the generations to get out and dance at the same time. In fact, the dance floor was packed all night long!!!!

We cut the cake with "Cut the Cake" by Average White Band. 

After that we danced the rest of the evening. It was a lot of fun...
