Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

Lindsay and Evan Schurr celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 12/22/2021.  This fun wedding began with an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard.  Approximately 120 guests witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss then they were all invited to the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Lindsay chose Jump Around by House of Pain for the bridal party intros and Come and Get Your Love by Redbone for her and Evan's intro.  The first dance was to Grow Old with You by Adam Sandler then Lindsay danced with her dad to The Way You Look Tonight by Steve Tyrell and Evan danced with his mom to Days Like This by Van Morrison.  The blessing of the meal was given by Uncle's Ernie, Ricky and Scottie then Kim (maid of honor) and Michael (best man) gave the toasts.  The 1st of a 3 course meal was service and the reception was under way.  Lindsay did provide me with a nice play list that included top 40, 80s and 90s dance hits, country and R&B.  Great mix of genres for this very energetic bunch.  They filled up the dance floor after dinner and only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony and for the garter/bouquet toss.  As the evening progressed we did perform a traditional Jewish Hora along with some of the newer group dances.  The closing song for the evening was What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong which was Lindsay's grandfather's favorite song...PRICELESS!!!
