Saturday evening October 7th, at Benvenuto's with their great attentive staff is where the celebration for Willie and Catie was held with DJ Marc Evans where 7 years prior I was the DJ/MC at her sisters wedding also at Benvenutos.
In the atrium the ceremony took place as the bridal party walked down the aisle to What A Wonderful World by The Brooklyn Duo. Catie walked with her dad to Can't Help Falling in Love by The Brooklyn Duo. Once pronounced husband and wife by the Pastor who was great, they danced down the aisle to cheers from family and friends to Everlasting Love, Natalie Cole.
Cocktail hour was held in the bar area to the sounds big bands, Mike Buble, Frank Sinatra and friends and many other Jazz artists played by the sounds of Stuey Blue the Saxophone soloist from Eddie B & Company.
Guests began to make there way into the main room that was highlighted with Amber LED up-lights and LED Dance floor lights, as I prepared the bridal party for the entrance into the main room. They danced into Don't Stop the Party by Pitbull followed by Willie and Catie to The Best I Ever Had by Drake as family and friends were pumped. The first dance was to the Better Together, Luke Combs. Catie danced with her dad to My Little Girl and Willie danced with his mom to Your Mama, Jason Aldean.
Appetizers and salad were served followed by the toasts and then I began to dance the couples and then the entire room joined in for a twenty minutes of dancing and even the cupid shuffle before dinner, the dance floor was packed. The photo booth from Eddie B & Company was opened after the formalities, where Cecilia helped guests with props, the pictures and the photo album that the bride and groom received at the end of the evening.
Cake cutting was to How Sweet it Is and then the dancing continued all night to include sing alongs, line dances, top 40, hip hop, Latin music and then the last song to Dirty Bit by Pitbull followed by the sparkler send off as Catie informed me of the great time she had and the enjoyable music that was played from her list and could not stop hugging me as her mom Elaine said I was better at this wedding then the first, so I guess I get better with age like a fine wine. Another great night with DJ Marc Evans.
