Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

Ashley and Matthew Jensen celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 12/17/2017.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the guests were invited to Benvenuto's for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites at the cocktail hour while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 6 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Ashley chose I Believe In A Thing Called Love by Darkness as the entrance song for everyone.  The first dance was to Dancing In The Moonlight by King Harvest then Ashley danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and Matthew danced with his mom to It Happens In A Heartbeat by Teresa James.  Pastor Grace Hood gave the blessing of the meals and everyone prepared for a 3 course dinner.  Ashley did provide me with a small list of genres and left the rest to me.  I played a mix of top 40, soca, 80s and 90s dance hits and Motown.  Great mix for this fun group!!  As the night progressed they performed the cake cutting ceremony and a bouquet toss (no garter).  The closing songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and Marry You by Bruno Mars.  Great ending to a perfect evening.  Congrats to Ashley, Matthew and the entire Jensen and Eccles families.
