Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

Heidi and Stephen Gillis celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 3/10/2024.  Approximately 175 guests arrived to Benvenuto's on that Sunday early evening and were directed to the courtyard for the ceremony.   The cocktail hour took place at the atrium bar and as everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers, I played a mix of smooth jazz tunes.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless, uplights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 19 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Heidi's parents entered to Ran Kan Kan by Tito Puente, Stephen's parents entered to I Gotta Feeling by The B.E.P., the bridal party entered to Forever by Chris Brown and Heidi and Stephen entered to Can't Stop The Feeling by J. Timberlake.  The first dance was to Have I Told You Lately by R. Stewart then Heidi danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Stephen danced with his mom to Forever Young by Rod Stewart.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  The toasts during dinner were given by Jeff (BM), Teresa (MOH) and Laine (Mat OH).  Heidi did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s and 2000s club hits, country and latin favorites.  Perfect mix of genres for this very fun/energetic group of guests.  The cake cutting was performed as the evening progressed but there was no garter/bouquet toss.  Heidi and Stephen requested We Are Family as the last song for the evening then everyone headed to the front of the venue for a sparkler send-off.  The happy couple did take the time to have a private dance to Amazed by Lonestar...PRICELESS!!
