Saturday evening November 16th at my favorite venue, Benvenuto's, is where the reception for Alex and Allie Todd was held with DJ Marc Evans. The ceremony was held outside in the courtyard, a cousin of the bride performed the ceremony. The bridal party walked down the aisle to Canon in D. Allie walked down the aisle with her dad to Ruelles, I Get To Love you. The cousin pronounced them husband and wife I played Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours by Stevie Wonder.
The Cocktail hour was held in the bar area where the genre of music was from Dinner Swing as Allie asked for Frank, Dean, Natalie and more.
As the guests were seated for inttroductions into the Garden Room with the dance floor lights creating a great atmosphere, the bridal party entered the room to Uptown Funk and Allie and Alex to Shut Up and Dance. The first dance was Prayed to You. I then asked the father of the bride to dance with his daughter to Grow Up Too Fast. Alex then danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance. Alex did a traditional toast to her mom and asked her to dance to When God Made You My Mother
The Toasts were made by the Man of Honor the Best Man and the Parents of the Bride.
After a good solid hour of dancing, the cake cutting was to Higher Love and then we danced with a few line dances as some music from all the Genres. They danced all night and supplied me with necklaces and glasses for all to dance with.
The last few songs of the night chosen were Dirty Dancing, I've Had The Time of Your Life and then a sparkler send off as I payed God Gave Me You for Alex and Allie. Her family and friends could not have been more complimentary thanking me for creating a great evening for her and Alex. Thank you and congrats from DJ Marc Evans.
