Emily and Alec Petterson celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 12/8/2024. The ceremony music was provided by a separate vendor as we were hired for the cocktail hour and reception only. After the ceremony all of the guests were directed to the atrium bar room and the fireplace room for the cocktail hour. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites as everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Alberto also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names and the date) and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests made their way into the ballroom, I lined up the 31 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Emily chose Thunderstruck for her parent's intro, Red Kingdom for Alec's parent's intro, Crazy In Love for the bridesmaid's intro, Swag Surfing' by F.L.Y. for the groomsmen's intro and I'm Good by Bebe Rexha for her and Alec's intro. The first dance was to Love Me Tender sung by Emily herself then Emily danced with her dad to Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffet and Alec danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 5 course meal. The blessing of the meals was given by Mr. Van Duren (FOB) then Meaghan (MOH), Jeron (BM), Gabe (BM) and Bob (FOG) gave the toasts. Emily did provide me with a playlist that included top 40, classic rock, disco, 90s hip-hop and country. What a perfect mix of genres for this incredibly energetic group of guests. They danced the night away and only took a break for the cake cutting and for the garter/bouquet toss. We also performed the anniversary dance which was won by Emily's Aunt and Uncle. The closing song for the evening was Simply The Best by Tina Turner and that put a bow on a fantastic Sunday Benvenuto's wedding.
Congrats to Emily, Alec and the entire Petterson and Van Duren families.
Special thanks to the staff at Benvenuto's for always providing extra special service.
