Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

Anne and Rick Kirsch celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 1/5/2025.  Approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to Benvenuto's and were directed to the courtyard for the ceremony.  After the happy couple tied the knot, everyone was invited to the atrium bar for the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  The ballroom was ready for all to enter so I lined up Anne and Rick for their grand entrance.  They chose Celebration by Kool and The Gang for the intro song then they went right into their first dance which was Just The Way You Are by Billy Joel.  The toasts were given by Gary, Steve, Marty and Brandon then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 4 course dinner.  Anne asked that I played to the crowd and to have fun with them.  It was so much fun bringing back the oldies for this very fun/up-beat group of guests.  I played fun 70s and 80s dance hits, motown and latin favorites for all to enjoy.  I even played a few requests for couples dances as the evening progressed.  The closing songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and New York, New York by Frank Sinatra (of course).
