Wedding Reception at Benvenutos
Steph and Jake celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 4/18/2026. The ceremony music was provided by a separate vendor since we were hired for the cocktail hour and reception only. As all of the approximate 150 guests arrived to the venue, they were greeted with drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour. I played a mix of latin jazz instrumentals and I also took this time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for the reception, all of the guests were invited to the ballroom as I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Steph chose Calabria 2008 as the intro song for the bridal party and Short Skirt/Long Jacket by CAKE as her and Jake's intro song. The first dance was to Sunshine On My Shoulder by John Denver then Steph danced with her dad to Our Last Summer by Abba and Jake danced with his mom to Forever Now by Michael Buble. The prayer before the meals were given by Michelle, Kate and Brenda (all 3 moms) then during dinner the toasts were given by Anna (MOH) and Ian (BM). Steph and Jake did provide me with a playlist that included top 40, classic 90s dance tunes, country and latin favorites. Great mix of genres for the very fun/energetic group of guests. There was no formal cake cutting or garter/bouquet toss that evening, just a full out dance party that Steph, Jake and their guests fully enjoyed. The last song for the evening was an all time favorite...That's Amore by Dean Martin!!
