Wedding Reception at Boca Lago Country Club
Megan and Austin Appel celebrated their wedding at the Boca Lago Country Club in Boca Raton, FL on 12/14/2024. Approximately 200 guests arrived to Boca Lago that Saturday night and were directed to the outdoor ceremony over-looking the golf course. After a perfect ceremony, everyone was invited to the club house bar for the cocktail hour. They all mingled and enjoyed drinks, appetizers and the smooth, live jazz sounds of our very own saxophonist Steuy Blue. Myself and Leonard also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names and the date), the Sparktakular Cold Sparks effect and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 19 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Megan chose Celebration by Kool & The Gang for the parents intros, 24k by Bruno Mars for the groomsmen intros, Fergalicious by Fergie for the bridesmaids intros and When A Fire Starts by Disclosure for her and Austin's intro. The first dance was to I'll Be by Edwin McCain then Megan danced with her dad to Ready, Set Don't Go by Billy and Miley Cyrus and Austin danced with his mom to The Perfect Fan by Backstreet Boys. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. As the evening continued, the toasts were given by Ken (FOB), Janine (MOH) and Nick (BM) while everyone enjoyed their meals. Megan and Austin provided me with a great playlist that included top 40, classic rock, alternative tracks, EDM and country tunes. The perfect mix of genres and I also including some of the newer group dances. There was a cake cutting by the happy couple along with an extensive dessert table for all to enjoy. The closing song for the evening was All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey as all of the guests gathered on the dance floor for one last time.
