On Friday, January 30th I was at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the wedding reception of Katie and Sean. The ceremony took place at 4:00pm overlooking the beautiful gardens with a stunning fountain backdrop. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to You’re My Best Friend by Matchstick Piano Man, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Ain’t No Mountain High Enough by the Chillest. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Barr celebrated back down the aisle singing Ends of the Earth by Lord Huron. The reception was held under a large transparent tent decorated with white linens and soft white LED up lighting and mobile photo booth, provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions I invited the bridal party to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed Katie and Sean to Unwritten x Midnight City by Luke Muzzic leading right into dinner and speeches. During dinner, I played a some classic motown love songs while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, I directed everyone’s attention to the wedding cake to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. The rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, country, and party favorites for all the guests to dance to. Thank you Katie and Sean for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. - DJ ELOW
