Wedding Reception at Briza on the Bay

On march 17th I had the pleasure to play for David and Jennifer wedding at Briza On The Bay. Cocktail hour took place by the dock, I played a mix a tropical songs with artists such as Bob Marley, UB 40, Beres Hammond and more. Once cocktail hour concluded guests were invited to Briza, as guests made their way into reception I played a mix of Soul R&B. Bridal party introduction was to “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross featured The Notorious B.I.G, followed by David and Jennifer very special first dance to “I Get To Love You” By Ruelle. Jennifer shared a very special dance with her father to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. Speeches and toasts was by best man Durell and maid of honor Cyntia. During dinner I played a mix a R&B and Soul songs. Once dinner concluded dance floor  was opened to represent your flag celebration, I played a song for 12 different countries were guests from that particular country had to represent their country and wave their flag, from their on I mixed a hora loca set, props were given out hats, glasses and necklaces.From there on I mixed motown, 90’s & 2000 hip hop and R&B, reggaeton, bachata, merengue and top 40’s. Last song of the evening was to “ Young Forever” By  Jay-Z Feat Mr. Hudson.
