Wedding Reception at Coconut Cove Resort

Loretta and Chris Owen celebrated their wedding at the Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada Key, FL on 5/17/2026. Approximately 50 guests arrived to the venue and were directed to the beach-side ceremony. After the happy couple made it official with a big kiss, all off the guests were invited to the tiki bar for drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour. They all mingled and posed for pictures with Loretta and Chris as I played a mix of tropical tunes. When the buffet style dinner was ready, everyone made their way over to the reception/dinning area. One of the guests blessed the meals and the reception was underway. During dinner, Alexa (MOH) gave the toast then 1 representative from each of the 8 tables had to say a little something for Loretta and Chris. I was provided a play-list from Loretta and I also added to the fun mix of genres that I played that evening. This fun group of guests danced to the oldies, the newbies and the in-betweenies. The dancing continued throughout the evening and because they were having so much fun they asked me to stay and extra 2 hours!!! Amazing!!!

The closing songs for the evening were At Last by Etta James and I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor one last time with Loretta and Chris...what a great ending to a perfect wedding.
