On May 7th.2011 I played for a wedding reception at the Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada. The happy couple was Gregory & Annmarie Garis. As the guests sat for a delicious buffet I introduced the newlyweds. A mix of classic rock/island music was playing while the guests ate. After dinner I invited everyone to the tiki dance floor for the first dance..."Like Red On A Rose" by Alan Jackson....after the dance it was time for the parents dances. Annmarie danced with her dad to "What A Wounderful World" by Louis Armstrong then Greg danced with his mom to "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I invited everyone to the beach for a special kick off dance for the party. It was a surprise firework display dancing to "History In The Making" by Darius Rucker. It was party time after that dancing to Country/Pop/Classic Rock and a lot of requesst till 2 in the morning. During the night the couple cut the cake to "Baby I Love your Way" by Big Mountain and a good friend....Rico C. ...Sang two songs for the couple,he had everyone clapping and dancing. It was a great night for all and glad I was part of it...Thanks Roberto (D.J. Rob
