Wedding Reception at Courtyard Faro Blanco / Marathon Key

Alyssa and Matthew Brodeur celebrated their wedding at the Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon Key, FL on 7/24/2024.  Approximately 70 close friends and family members arrived to the venue and were directed to the beachside ceremony overlooking the Gulf.  After the happy couple tied the knot, everyone was invited to the cocktail hour on the beach.  They all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of tropical tunes and Alyssa and Matthew posed for pictures with immediate family members.  Myself and Leonard took the time to decorate the reception area with 20 LED, wireless uplights, dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests made their way into the reception tent, I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Alyssa chose Thunderstruck by AC/DC for the groomsmen intros, Best Friend by Doja Cat for the bridesmaid's intros and Sar'a Perch'a Ti Amo by EDM Vibes for her and Matthew's intro. The first dance was to Lover by Taylor Swift then Alyssa danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Matthew danced with his mom to Humble and Kind performed live by his step-father Vinny.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner. During dinner, the toasts were given by Cortney (MOH), Bryan (BM) and Alyssa's dad Neil.  The reception dance party picked up very quickly as everyone filled the dance floor after dinner.  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and heavy country tunes.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did have a cake cutting ceremony along with a dessert station for all to enjoy.  The closing song for the evening was The Time by The BEP as everyone gathered for a sparkler send-off for Alyssa and Matthew.
