On Saturday April 2nd, 2011 I played for Christina and Timothy Rieger. For their ceremony and cocktail reception, which took place outside by the waterfall/garden, they used a Harpist. I provided music for the reception from 7PM to 11PM. I introduced the newlyweds to "I'm A Believer" by Smashmouth, and their first dance was "Then" by Brad Paisley. After a five course dinner, Christina danced with her father Mickey Candito to "I Loved her First" by Heartland. The groom is a B.S.O. police officer so Christina dedicated "Bad Boys" to all that were in attendance. They cut their cake to "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies and I mixed in Zorba the Greek and Ce'Luna (2 fun ethnic dances). The music playlist was a mix of sing along classics from the 60's, disco hits from the 70's, and pop hits from the 80's. I didn't play many Top 40 tunes because of the audience of 60 guests were mostly 40 and older. The final song of choice was "I Had The Time Of My Life" from the Dirty Dancing Sountrack.
