On Saturday, April 16th, 2011 I played for Alexis and Brian Koster and 100 guests at the Deer Creek Country Club. The evening started with a one and a half hour cocktail reception out on the beautiful landscaped patio overlooking the waterfall. A mix of tropical music and michael Buble' filled the air on this bright sunny day. Then the party moved inside to the Key West room. Alexis and Brian chose "She's Everything" by Brad Paisley as their first dance. Alexis danced with her father to "My little Girl" by Tim McGraw and Brian and his mother chose a classic by Louie Armstrong "What A Wonderful World". This was a very festive group of people and they loved to dance. Music from the 80's was very popular this night, Bon Jovi, Journey, The Outfield, Michael Jackson, and the B52's. I also mixed in the popular club hits of today and for 2 hours plus the dance floor was packed! Later Alexis & Brian cut their wedding cake to a James Taylor classic "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You", and everyone sang along. I ended the evening with the popular "Dirty Bit" (Time Of My Life) by the Black Eyed Peas. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Koster and enjoy your honey moon in Saint Lucia!......DJ/MC Eddie B!
