Cinthia and Eli Vega celebrated their dream wedding at the Deer Creek C.C. in Deerfield Beach, FL on 5/27/2017. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the C.C. for the cocktail hour and reception. As all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of 80s and 90s throw-back favorites. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 emerald colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. When the guests entered the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception, I lined up the 14 member bridal party. Cinthia chose All I Do Is Win by DJ Khaled for the bridal party entrance and Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor for her and Eli's intro. The first dance was to A Thousand Years by C. Perri then Cinthia danced with her dad and Eli danced with his mom to Cancion De Un Padre by Martin Tremolada. The toasts were given by Madeline and Cristian (sister and brother of the bride) then both sets of parents gave the welcoming speeches. The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was under way. Cinthia did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s dance hits and some of the newer group dances. I also took a few requests for some salsa, reggaeton and bachata favorites. After dinner the dance floor filled up quickly!! They really enjoyed the mix of genres I played that night. We did have the cake cutting and a garter/bouquet toss as the night progressed along with an anniversary dance. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on an amazing Deer Creek wedding!! Congrats to Cinthia, Eli and the entire Munoz, Ruiz and Vega families. Special thanks to the only venue that we call our home away from home...Deer Creek CC!!!
