Wedding Reception at Deer Creek Country Club

Gabriela and Alan Betancourt celebrated their wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 12/7/2018.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the guests were invited to Deer Creek for the cocktail hour and reception.  Approximately 150 close friends and family members were greeted with drinks and appetizers and enjoyed a mix of Rat Pack favorites while I decorated the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 19 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Gabriela chose Celebration by Kool & The Gang for the bridal party intros and Stayin' Alive by The Bee Gees for her and Alan's intro.  The first dance was to Your Song by Elton John then Gabriela danced with her dad to Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole and Alan danced with his mom to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion.  The toasts were given by Monica (maid of honor) and Juan-Carlos (best man) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Gabriela did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s dance hits, latin favorites and alternative hits.  Great mix of genres for her guests...they really had fun on the dance floor.  The bouquet toss (no garter) and the cake cutting ceremony were performed as the evening progressed.  The closing songs for the evening were All You Need Is Love by The Beatles and Luna by The Smashing Pumpkins as all of the guests gathered outside for a huge send-off.  Congrats to Gabriela, Alan and the entire Betancourt and Bello families.
