Wedding Reception at Deer Creek Country Club

Kristina and Jorge Florez celebrated their wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 2/24/2019.  This beautiful Sunday afternoon wedding began with an outdoor ceremony at the trellis.  Approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the cocktail hour in the Biscayne Room.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As they all entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Kristina chose Pop/Star by K/Da for the bridal party intros and Rise by Glitch Mob for her and Jorge's intro.  The first dance was to Always Remember Us by Lady Gaga then Kristina danced with her dad to a special recorded song by Kristina herself then Jorge danced with his mom to The Perfect Fan by The Backstreet Boys.  The toasts were given by Stacey (maid of honor) and Takashi (best man) then Kristina's dad Mr. Thalin gave the blessing of the meals.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet style brunch.  Kristina did not provide me with a play list but did ask me to take requests and to have fun with her guests.  I took plenty of requests that afternoon for top 40, Colombian classics, country and Motown.  There was no garter toss but we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the bouquet toss as the afternoon progressed.  The closing song was No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo and that put a bow on a fabulous Sunday afternoon Deer Creek wedding.  Congrats to Kristina, Jorge and the entire Flores and Thalin families.
