Wedding reception at Deer Creek Country Club

Ashley and Jose Porras celebrated their dream wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 11/21/2022.  Approximately 70 guests arrived to the club and were directed to the indoor ceremony (weather was not cooperating).  After Ashley and Jose made it official with a big kiss all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while everyone mingled and also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a monogram (with their names and the date) all provided by Eddie B & Company.   As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 10 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Ashley chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars for the bridal party intro and Sucker by Jonas Brothers for her and Jose's intro.  The first dance was to Perfect by Ed Sheeran then Ashley danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Jose danced with his mom to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins.  The toasts were given by Kayla (MOH), Heather (BMaid) and Miguel (BM) then all of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 4 station/buffet style dinner.  Ashley did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, EDM, oldies and 90s r&b hits.  Perfect mix of genres for this very fun/energetic group of guests.  They packed the dance floor and only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony and bouquet(no garter) toss.  The closing song for the evening was I've Had The Time of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack so all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor for one last time.
