Wedding & Reception at Deer Creek Country Club
Loren & Scott Harvey celebrated their dream wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 4/29/2023. This amazing wedding began with a cocktail hour in the patio area of the club by the water fall. I played a mix of smooth jazz tunes as approximately 130 guests arrived and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Loren and Scott posed for pictures with immediate family members and also mingled with them right before the reception began. Myself and Cecilia decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. All of the guests entered the ballroom as I lined up Loren and Scott for the grand entrance. They entered to I Believe by The Darkness then they danced to Send Me Some Lovin' by Otis Redding as their first dance. Loren then danced with her dad to Drive by Alan Jackson and Scott danced with his mom to Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was in full swing. During dinner Ryan (BM) and Caiti and Corina (MOH) gave the toasts then Tom (FOB) gave the welcoming speech. Loren provided me with a short play list and asked me to have fun with her guests. I played top 40, classic rock, latin favorites and took plenty of requests for EDM and house music. Amazing energy by everyone that evening as the dance floor and the photo booth were highly in demand. There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did have a cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) as the evening progressed.
The closing song for the evening was Piano Man by Billy Joel then everyone gathered outside for the sparkler send-off. Lorena and Scott took the time to have a private last dance to The One by Kolton Moore...PRICELESS!!!
