Wedding & Reception at Deer Creek Country Club
Stephanie and Taylor Rogers celebrated their wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 7/1/2023. The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the club for the cocktail hour and reception. All of the guests were greeted with drinks and appetizers as they all mingled and enjoyed a mix of smooth jazz favorites at the cocktail hour. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 22 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Stephanie chose Cuff It by Beyonce for the bridal party intros and Music For A Sushi Restaurant by Harry Styles for her and Taylor's intro. The first dance was to You're My Best Friend by Paul Canning then Stephanie danced with her dad to Hija Mia by Abraham Velasquez and Taylor danced with his mom to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. The toasts were given by Dario (brother of the bride) and a welcome speech by Mr. Mendoza (FOB). Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal and the reception was in full swing. Stephanie did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, 90s and 2000s hip-hop and Motown. Prefect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests. The dance floor opened up after dinner and it became a full blown dance party. They only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony and for the garter/bouquet toss. I also took a few requests for some of the newer group dance along with couples dances as the evening progressed. The closing song for the evening was I've Had The Time of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack and that put a bow on a fantastic Saturday night Deer Creek wedding.
