Wedding Reception at Deer Creek Country Club

Sofia & Julian celebrated their wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 10/13/2023.  Approximately 85 close friends and family members arrived to the club and were directed to the outdoor trellis for the ceremony.  After the happy couple tied the knot they were all invited to the Biscayne Room for the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of smooth jazz tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up Sofia and Julian for the grand entrance.  They chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars as the intro song then they had their first dance to the Blue Danube Waltz.  During the waltz they also danced their their parents, aunts and uncles.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  The toasts were given by both dads, by Catalina (MOH) and all 3 groomsmen.  Sofia did provide me with a playlist that included top 40, classic 90s and 2000s hits and heavy latin and Argentinian favorites.  Amazing energy all night from this very up-beat group of guests.  Sofia and Julian did take the time to cut their wedding cake (no garter/bouquet toss) and they also requested more group dances.  The closing song for the evening was Musica Lijera by Soda Estereo as all of the remaining guests gathered one last time with Sofia and Julian on the dance floor.
