Wedding Reception at Deer Creek Country Club

Dominique and Zach Palumbo celebrated their dream wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 3/10/2018.  Approximately 130 guests arrived to Deer Creek and were directed to the outdoor ceremony at the trellis.  Immediately after the ceremony everyone was invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of Rat Pack tunes and took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 lavender, colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Dominique chose Can't Stop The Feeling by J. Timberlake for the bridal party entrance and Shining by DJ Khaled for her and Zach's intro.  The first dance was to Grow Old by Florida Georgia Line then Dominique danced with her dad to Daddy's Little Girl by Michael Bolton and Zach danced with his mom to Hero by Mariah Carey.  The toasts were given by Lacy (maid of honor) and Michael (best man) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Dominique did not provide me with a play list but she did ask that I play to her guests and to have fun with them.  What great energy they had all night!!  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s hits and country.  Great mix of genres for these guests.  I also took a few requests for a couples dance and for 2 group dances.  As the evening progressed the happy couple did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss.  The closing song for the evening was Don't Stop Believing by Journey (great closing song).
