Wedding Reception at Ever After Farms

Katie and Ennio Salgado celebrated their wedding at Ever After Farms - Blueberry Barn in Mims, FL on 1/13/2023.  Approximately 120 close friends and family members arrived to the farm that Friday evening and were directed to the outdoor ceremony.  After the happy couple tied the knot they were all invited to the cocktail hour while Katie and Ennio posed for pictures with immediate family members.  I played a mix of yacht rock tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Katie chose I Gotta Feeling by BEP for the bridal party intro and Shake It Off by Taylor Swift for her and Ennio's intro.  The first dance was to I See The Light by Mandy Moore then Katie danced with her dad to Forever Now by Michael Buble.  All of the guests found their seats and before they all enjoyed a buffet style dinner, Faith (MOH) and Josh (BM) gave the toasts.  Katie and Ennio trusted me to play to their guests and to have fun.  After dinner the dance floor opened up and they partied the night away.  I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites and 2000s hits.  The cake cutting was performed as the night progressed and I also took requests for some line dances.  The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on a nice Friday night wedding.
