Wedding Reception at Ever After Farms

On Sunday, May 18th I was at Ever After Farms: Tropical Grove in Homestead, FL for the wedding ceremony and reception of Alexa and Tyler. The ceremony took place at 1:00pm in the garden. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to Forever and Ever, Amen by Paul Hankinson, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to I Get to Love You by Ruelle. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Shoens celebrated back down the aisle while singing I Like me Better by Lauv. Following the cocktail hour, I invited everyone into the air conditioned barn for the reception. When it was time for introductions the bridal party stood in a large circle as we all welcomed Alexa and Tyler to Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours) by Stevie Wonder. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to a mix of songs to show off the choreography they had been working diligently on. During dinner, I played a some easy listening while the guests enjoyed their meal and after some speeches, the rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop and party favorites for all the guests to dance to.
