Wedding Reception at Gallupi's

Bonnie and Philip Dicke celebrated their wedding at Galuppi's of Pompano Beach, FL on 2/8/2015.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the approximately 100 guests made their way to Galuppi's for the cocktail hour and reception.  During the cocktail hour I played a mix of tropical tunes while all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  Bonnie and Philip took the time to pose for pictures with their family and friends.  As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Bonnie chose I'm A Believer by Smash Mouth for the bridal party entrance along with her and Philip.  The first dance was to Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol then Philip danced with his mom to Hold Us Together by Matt Maher.  The blessing was given by Jack (friend of bride and groom) and as the night progressed Mike (best man) and Dom (friend) gave the toasts.  All of the guests found their seats for the first of a three course meal and the reception was in full swing.  Bonnie and Philip did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, oldies, alternative and 80's.  Philip did request Follow You, Follow Me by Genesis for Bonnie and asked me to invite all of the couples to join them on the dance floor.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did cut their wedding cake which was the dessert.  As the night flowed, the dance floor was very busy.  So busy that I was asked to stay an additional hour.  Great fun had by all for a Sunday night wedding!!  Congrats to Bonnie, Philip and the entire Dicke and Rendo families.  Special thanks to the staff at Galuppi's for a job well done.
