Friday evening July 28th at GiGis Restaurant in Hollywood was a beautiful setting for two beautiful people with family and friends to celebrate a new beginning. As the guests arrived for cocktails the music playing was upbeat as Anel mentioned she wanted me to keep it upbeat as she wasn't sure who would dance so with upbeat music all night long they just might party all night.
Once Anel and Andrew arrived, we began the entrance with the bridal party to For Once in My Life by Stevie Wonder. Then Anel and Andrew walked in to My First, My Last, My Everything, By Barry White. The first dance with was to Lonestar, Amazed followed by Anel and her dad dancing to As You Dance by Reid Michaels. Once the dance concluded, the first of many courses was served.
Between the courses I got the guests to dance as Anel wasn't sure they would but they did. From Salsa, Merengue to top 40 dance music and even some reggae and Jamaican music as that is where Andrews family was from.
After dinner, Anel and Andrew did a toast to the guests and then they cut the cake to Just The Two Of Us, by Grover Washington. Then the dancing began as I took requests from the guests as well as followed the playlist of music provided of Latin and dance music. The final song s were picked by me as Anel and Andrew asked me to make that decision. Don't Stop Believing and Last Dance. Anel and Andrew thanked me, for making the wedding better then they thought it would be. I text Anel the following day as I do with all the brides to ensure that myself and the company followed all of their expectations.. She text me back and said that she was so glad she decided to use a DJ and was very pleased that I was the entertainer to keep her guests dancing all night...DJ Marc Evans..
