On 5/11/13 Greg & Jamie Martinez had their reception at
GiGi's Restaurant on Hollywood's intra coastal waterway. A small group of family & friends joined them for a 3 hour luncheon enjoying food, drinks and good music. Island music played as guests arrived waiting for the wedding party introduction. The wedding party was introduced to "Gangnam Style"...as they all did the dance to it. Jamie and Greg went right into their first dance to "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith (most from up north,Mass). Then some toasts took place. The 4 course luncheon was served as I played a long set of ...Ratpack,island.country.pop.dance.rock and Latin. During lunch the parents dances took place. The father/daughter was to "My Little Girl" by T.McGraw.....mother/son to "Con Los Anos Que Me Quedan" by G.Estefan. After lunch it was really laid back....I played a few fast songs to get some feet going as the dance floor filled until the cutting of the cake & garter/bouquet toss. I had this small crowd dancing for a short time then they asked for a half hour overtime...Playing Latin..Top 40 dance/pop...classic disco/r&b..ending the afternoon with the last song "Save The Last Dance For Me" by The Drifters....Best Wishes to Greg & Jamie...Thanks Roberto (D.J./M.C.
