Sam and CJ celebrated their dream wedding at Hawk's Cay Resort in Duck Key, FL on 3/2/2024. This amazing wedding began with a beach-side ceremony overlooking the Gulf where approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss. The cocktail hour took place by the pool deck and that is where our very own Brian Henry provided the live steel drum sounds of the Caribbean. I took the time to decorate the reception/dinner/dancing area with 20 LED, wireless uplights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests found their seats at the reception area, I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Sam chose Don't Stop The Party by Pitbull for the bridal party intros and Let's Get Ready To Rumble by Jock Jams for her and CJ's intros. The first dance was to Can't Have Mine by Dylan Scott then Sam dance with her dad to There Goes My Life by Kenny Chesney and CJ danced with her dad to Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffet. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner. During dinner the toasts were given by both sets of parents and by Sam's (MOH) Lauren and CJ's (MOH) Samantha. The dance floor opened up immediately after dinner and it became a full out dance party until the end. I played a mix of top 40, 90s and 2000s club bangers, country and latin favorites. The cake cutting was performed as the evening progressed but it was the dance floor where everyone had a blast. The closing song for the evening was one of Sam's dad's favorite tune...we all gathered on the dance floor for to A Pirate Looks At 40 by Jimmy Buffet. Perfect ending to a perfect evening.
Congrats to CJ, Sam and the entire Soltis and Parsons families.
Special thanks to the staff at Hawk's Cay for always providing 5 star service.
