Saturday eve July 29, 2013 at Hugh's Catering in Ft. Lauderdale is where the
wedding reception for Brandon and Barbi was held.
As the guests arrived I
played some upbeat funky music that had the guests tapping there feet to the
beat as they enjoyed cocktails.
Once all the guests arrived I lined up
the bridal party along with the bride and groom and introduced them to Marc
Evans famous brain beat and then a remix of Diamonds In the Sky provided by the
bride and groom.
The first dance was to I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz.
The bride danced with her Dad to Muy Dentro De Mi by Marc Anthony and the groom
danced with his mom to Smple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Following the toasts
and the prayer, the food stations were open. I played for dinner songs of the
music request sheet provided. Eagles, Tom Petty, Breakdown,
Lynyrd Skynyrds, Sweet Home Alabama, Billy Joel, Just The Way You Are, John
Denver's, Take Me Home and many other songs to listen and eat dinner
to.
Following dinner I started with some Latin songs such as Suavemente,
Carnival, Micaela and then played top 40 music. Feel this Moment, Pitbull,
Rihanna, Where Have You Been and many more. We did line dances to the Electric
Slide, The Cupid Shuffle and the Macarena.
The cake cutting was to How
Sweet It Is by James Taylor. The garter and bouquet ceremony was to Girls Just
Wanna Have Fun, Nice and Slow and I'll Make Love to you.
The party
continued with more dancing from Latin to top 40. The bride and groom took a lot
of pictures as there guests danced and enjoyed themselves.
Thank you for
a good evening, Marc Evans.
