Wedding Reception at Hyatt Centric / Key West

I DJed Chris and Haley's wedding at the Hyatt Centric in Key West on Saturday, September 28, 2024. It was a gorgeous day with the sun shining and a beautiful view of the ocean. Chris and Haley were married at a nearby church and returned to the resort for the reception. I played tropical house music, reggae remixes, and music from Taylor Swift, Bob Marley, Justin Bieber and Empire of the Sun creating a chill atmosphere for the guests as they enjoyed appetizers. 

After cocktail hour I introduced the bridal party to Just Dance by Lady Gaga. Next I had the honor to introduce for the very first time Mr and Mrs Mayer! The newlyweds entered to Crazy in Love by Jay Z and Beyonce, followed by their first dance to a mix of Elvis - Can't Help Falling in Love and Bruno Mars - Marry You. Next, Haley danced with her father to Yours by Post Malone and Chris danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. Next the Best Man and Maid of Honor gave toasts to the newlyweds, a prayer was said and dinner was served. I played music from John Mayer, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga while the guests enjoyed dinner.

After dinner I brought up each table one by one to the dance floor to take a photo with Chris and Haley, a popular new tradition which I highly recommend. Next, Chris and Haley cut the cake to Belong Together by Mark Ambor and the party started! The guests danced to music from Shakira, Bee Gees, Black Eyed Peas, Flo Rida, Bon Jovi and Abba. Haley presented a bouquet to her mother and tossed another one to the single ladies to see who will be getting married next! Next, Chris tossed a football to the single guys to see which one of them will be getting married next. A conga line formed around the room and I played music from Justin Bieber, Usher and Lil John. I played Wonderful Tonight, Unchained Melody so guests could slow dance with their sweetheart. The night ended with The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson.

I wish Chris and Haley the best and I am so happy to be part of their special day!
