On Saturday, July 16th, 2011 I played for Jamie and Brian Traino and 130 guests at the Hyatt Regency, Pier 66 in Ft. Lauderdale. This was one big party from start to finish. After cocktail hour which was held downstairs in Windows On The Green, family & friends were invited to the 17th floor Rooftop Lounge. I started with introducing the bridal party to "I Got a Feeling" and the newlyweds made their grand entrance to "Living On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi. The entire room was electric (this was an Italian & Scotish wedding). Jamie and Brian danced their first dance to "I Knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden. There were 6 toasts presented and a delicious sit down dinner was served, during which I played a lot of Italian classics from Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Rosemary Clooney, and the God Fathers' Theme. Later Jamie danced with her father to "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw, and Brian danced with his mother to "The Man You've Become" by Molly Pasutti. Then for 2 hours non-stop my dance floor rolled to everything I played, from 80's retro to modern club music and a few classics from The Doors, Beatles, and Dion. Jamie and Brian cut their wedding cake to "Candyman" and then Jamie tossed her bouquet to "Single Ladies". We ended the evening with "Wonderful Tonight" and finally "Dirty Bit" (Time O f My Life). I want to thank Laura, Robert, and their entire staff for their hospitality, and it was a pleasure working with Munoz Photography as always. Jamie and Brian are off to Cancun to celebrate their honeymoon.....Thank you for making me a part of your special day.....this was one memorable wedding!......DJ/MC Eddie B!!
