On Saturday, March 24 I had the pleasure to play for Rocco and Tatiana at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Pier 66. During cocktail hour Eddie B & Company provided our famous saxophonist Stuy Blue to entertaine the guests. Once cocktail hour concluded everyone was invited to the Pier Top for for reception. The pier top was beautifully highlighted with amber LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company. As guests made their way in to the reception I mixed a variety of upbeat house songs along side with our amazing percussionist Steve provided by Eddie B & Company. Bridal party introduction was to “Get Ready For This” By 2 Unlimited, Rocco and Tatiana were introduced to “Walking On Sunshine” By Katrina & the Waves. Rocco and Tatiana shared a very special first dance to “ Wonderful Tonight” By Eric Clapton. Father and daughter dance was to “Isn’t She Lovely” By Stevie Wonder, mother and son dance was to “ My Wish “ by Rascal Flatts. Toasts were given by best man Tuang and maid of honor Carolina. During dinner I played a mix of rat pack and bossa nova. Cake cutting was to “ Sweetest Thing ” by U2, followed by the bouquet toss to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce. Dance floor was opened to” Voce Partiu Meu Coracao” by Nego Do Borel, from there on Steve our percussionist and I were in sync as we played everything from Top 40 hits, to Motown, Brazilian Samba, Sertanejo, Funk and of course all the fun line dances. Last song of the evening was to “Treasure” By Bruno Mars.
