Wedding Reception at Isla Bella Resort / Marathon

Heather and Austin Heare celebrated their dream wedding at Isla Bella Resort in Marathon Key, FL on 5/9/2024.  The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all took place outdoors on the beach over-looking the Atlantic Ocean.  Approximately 40 close friends and family members witnessed a very beautiful ceremony then they were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and posed for pictures with the happy couple.  Heather and Austin had a grand entrance to Back In Black by AC/DC then they went right into their first dance which was Thank You by Bonnie Raitt.  Heather then danced with her dad to Wildflower by Tom Petty and Austin danced with his mom to Days Like This by Van Morrison.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner and the toasts which were given by Amanda (sister of the bride) and Marj (MOG).  There was no cake cutting ceremony but Heather and Austin did surprise everyone with a dessert station that featured "churros"...delish!!!!  The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner and it became a non-stop dance party till the end.  I did take a few requests for county music and for 80s dance hits as the evening progressed.  Perfect mix of genres for this fun group of guests.  As the evening came to a close and all of the guests lined up for a sparkler send-off, I played Going Get Tough by The Growlers.
