On Saturday June 8th, 2013 I played for Heather and Ryan Hinsz and 125 family members and friends at the Jacaranda Country Club. We started with a cocktail hour in the lounge for which I played a mix of easy listening tunes from the 70's to the present day. Then the real party started with a formal introduction of the bridal party to an instrumental version of "Get Ready For This". The difference was Ryan provided me with some info about each individual as I introduced them, making it sound like we were at a sporting event. The I introduced heather & Ryan to Chicago Bulls theme song, "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons Project. When they reached the dance floor Ryan went up and down the bridal party line, giving high 5's to everyone! This caused a great reaction from the guests with cheers and applause! Their first dance was "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton and late Heather danced with her father to "My Little Girl" and Ryan danced with his mother to "Song For Mama". During dinner I took them down memory lane playing everything from Sinatra to Michael Buble with some Springsteen, Frankie Valli, and Keith Urban mixed in. Once dinner was over I cranked up the tunes and started the party with "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston. I had a festive group of party people that enjoyed line dances and everything from Michael Jackson to Pitbull. Later Ryan removed the garter to "Hot In Herre" by Nelly and Heather tossed her bouquet to "Single Ladies". The cake was cut to "Everlasting Love" by Carl Carlton. The highlight of the evening is when Ryan sang "Fly Me To The Moon" to his bride as everyone cheered him on.....he did a GREAT job! For the finale I played as requested "Born To Run" by the Boss.....Bruce Springsteen! I also want to thank Darlene, Jeff and Mike at Jacaranda for their hospitality and professionalism......they make all vendors feel at home! Congrats and all the best to Heather and Ryan Hinsz......DJ/MC Eddie B!
