Wedding Reception at Jacaranda Country Club

Marolyn and Marc Sokol celebrated their wedding at the Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL on 6/22/2024.  This fun wedding began with an indoor ceremony (due to weather) where approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up Marolyn and Marc for the grand entrance.  They chose Marry You by Bruno Mars as the intro song then they danced to Ven by Fonseca as the first dance.  Marc danced with his mom to Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 5 station buffets style brunch.  The prayer before the meals was given by Connie (Marc's step-mom) then Chuck (BM) gave the toast.  Marc did provide me with a playlist that included songs for the cocktail hour, meals and fun dance tunes for after lunch.  The dance floor that Saturday afternoon was busy and as the reception was in full swing I took a few requests for some latin favorites.  The cake cutting and bouquet toss (no garter) were performed also but the dance floor was the place top be.  As the wedding came to a close I played Love On Top by Beyonce then Dejame Entrar by Carlos Vives as all of the remaining guests waved farewell to the happy couple as they headed out to the awaiting car.  

Congrats to Marolyn, Marc and the entire Sokol and Frank families.
