Rachel and John Floyd celebrated their wedding at the Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL on 3/29/2025. This wedding began with an indoor ceremony where approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour was held at the club house bar as Rachel and John posed for pictures with immediate family members. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Leonard also took the time to decorate that ballroom with 20 LED, wireless uplights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names and the date) and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests made their way into the ballroom, I lined up the 11 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Rachel chose Got To Give It Up by M. Gaye as the intro song for the parents, You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall and Oats for the bridal party intros and Space Jam by Quad City DJs for her and John's intro. The first dance was to Soulmate by Josh Turner then Rachel danced with her dad to Somewhere Over The Rainbow by K. McPhee and John danced with his mom to I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. The 5 buffet/stations were ready for all to enjoy and the reception was in full swing. During dinner, the toasts were given by Jordan (BM), Vincent (Man of Honor) and Joseph (FOB). Rachel did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, EDM, Motown and 80s dance hits. Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests that danced the night away and only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony. As the evening progressed the dance floor and the photo booth were where the action happened. The closing song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a fantastic Saturday night wedding.
Congrats to Rachel, John and the entire Floyd and Comito families.
Special thanks to the staff at Jacaranda for always providing 5 star service.
