Wedding Reception at Jacaranda Country Club

Hello bloggers! DJ Cristian here at the Jacaranda country club about to start Wesley and Dana’s wedding celebration! It’s March 23rd and the guests are making their way to the bar for the cocktail hour portion of the celebration. I’m playing a smooth mix of pop classics for the guests to enjoy their drinks and appetizers.Eddie B & Company also providedan Open Air photo booth, Gobo monogram projection and LED dance floor lights. As the cocktail hour wraps up I get the bridal party prepared for their introductions. Everyone is lined up and ready to go! I introduce the bridal party consisting of the bride and grooms parents, the bridesmaids, groomsman, best man and the maid of honor to Pick Up The Pieces by Average White Band. The bridal party surrounds the dance floor and I now proceed to introduce Wesley and Dana to 24k Magic by Bruno Mars. They come in dancing and I introduce their first dance as husband and wife. They chose I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz. Now the time has come for Dana to dance with her father and they dance to I Hope You Dance by Leanne Womack. As Dana and her father take their seats, Wesley now dances with his mother to Madre by Camilo Sexto. Now that the dances are complete the toasts begin. Three toasts are given and afterwards dinner is served. As soon as the guests finish their dinner Wesley and Dana cut their wedding cake to Sugar by Maroon 5. Soon after the cake cutting Dana tosses the bouquet to her bridesmaids to Girls just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. We have now arrived at my favorite part of the night... party time!!! So, I play some modern pop hits mixed with some classic hip hop tracks with a sprinkle of salsa as requested by one of the groomsmen. I play until the hora loca begins and then let the lovely ladies dressed in beautiful feathery outfits take over. I helped pass out all the party favors as the guests all get out of their seats and get crazy on the dance floor. After the hora loca comes to an end I play some classic hip hop, salsa and pop until the end of the night. It was a great party! I wish Wesley and Dana all the best!
