Wedding Reception at Key Largo Lighthouse

I DJed Kent and Jordan's wedding at Key Largo Lighthouse on Saturday, February 24, 2024. It was an absolutely beautiful day and over 130 guests traveled to Key Largo to see the marriage of Mr and Mrs Skiles. The ceremony started with Kent and Jordan's parents and grandparents walking down the path to the Piano and Cello cover of "You'll Be in My Heart". Next, Kent and his family walked down the path to the piano version of the Jurassic Park Theme. Next the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen walked down to the piano version of the song "How Far I'll Go". Finally, Jordan walked down the path escorted by her father Guy to the piano version of "Marry Me". After a beautiful ceremony, Jordan and Kent were pronounced husband and wife and I played "We Go Together" from the Grease Soundtrack. 

During cocktail hour there was a beautiful sunset and I played music from Morgan Wallen, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett. I played "When the Sun Goes Down" right as the sun was setting. Next, Kent and Jordan had their first dance to Rascal Flatts - God Bless the Broken Road. After the sun set the temperature dropped and the wind started picking up even though it was a full moon with not a cloud in the sky. Next, Jordan's father Guy gave a beautiful toast followed by Matron of Honor Lindsay and Best Man Mitch. After dinner Jordan danced with her father Guy to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Kent danced with his mother Tara to Somewhere Over the Rainbow. 

Next, we made the decision to move the party under the tent to get out of the wind which was absolutely the right move. The expert crew at Key Largo Lighthouse went over and above and moved all the tables out and helped move my setup over so we could get the party going under the tent out of the elements. Jordan tossed her bouquet to Levitating by Dua Lipa. Next we danced the night away to songs from Flo Rida, Avicii, Abba, Bruno Mars, Blink 182, Good Charlotte and Lil Jon. I played a set of country music from Alan Jackson, and Big and Rich. The officiant David took the mic and sang Tennessee Whiskey like a professional! The party was rocking under the tent and the energy was high! I played Flo Rida - My House and the Hustle for the father of the bride. The night ended with I Love It by Charlie XCX and Journey Don't Stop Believing. Jordan and Kent's wedding was SO much fun and I wish them the best future!
