Wedding Reception at Key Largo Lighthouse

Bethany and Jake Simmons celebrated their dream wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 6/25/2024.  The weather was perfect for a beachside ceremony overlooking the Gulf that Tuesday late afternoon.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed a beautiful ceremony then they were all invited to the tiki bar for the cocktail hour.  Bethany and Jake posed for pictures while they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes until it was time for the grand entrance.  Bethany chose Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You by Frankie Valli as the intro song then they went straight into their first dance which was Dance With You by Brett Young.  Bethany danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland then Jake danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  Once the dances were complete everyone followed Bethany and Jake to the reception tent for a buffet style dinner.  During dinner the toasts were given by Rachel (MOH) and Deagan (BM) and the reception was under way.  The cake cutting was performed after dinner then everyone headed to the pier for sunset pictures.  Bethany did provide me with a play list that included top 40, heavy country favorites and a few love songs for the couples to dance to also.  As the evening progressed I took requests for some of the older line dances along with a few drinking sing-a-long songs.  The closing song for the evening was Still The One by Shania Twain and that put a bow on an amazing Tuesday night keys wedding.

Congrats to Bethany, Jake and the entire Simmons and Jenkins families.
