Wedding Reception at Key Largo Lighthouse
Madeleine and Alec Thompson celebrated their wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 6/2/2026. Approximately 90 guests arrived to the lighthouse that Tuesday late afternoon and were directed to the beach-side ceremony. After the happy couple tied the knot, all of the guests were invited to the tiki bar for the cocktail hour. They all enjoyed drink and appetizers while the happy couple posed for pictures with immediate family members. When it was time for the grand entrance, the 17 member bridal party entered to Right Round by FloRida then Madeleine and Alec entered to Anything Could Happen by Flinch. The first dance was to This Is It by Scott McCreary then Madeleine danced with her dad to Perhaps Love by John Denver and Alec danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy so all of the guests were invited to the reception tent. The blessing of the meals was given by Grandpa William then during dinner the toasts were given by James (FOB), Isabella (MOH) and Brett (BM). The cake cutting and ice cream station were presented after dinner then the dance floor opened up for some dancing fun. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, EDM favorites and 90s and 2000s hip-hop. Great mix of genres for these very excited group of guests and as the evening progressed I also took requests for Abba favorites. The closing song for the evening was Take Me Home Country Road by John Denver as everyone gathered on the dance floor with the newlyweds.
