Wedding & Reception at Key Largo Lighthouse

On Thursday, March 23rd I was at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach for the wedding reception of Shaun and Shawntee. The ceremony took place around 5:00pm just a few feet from the ocean at the property’s Hidden Beach outdoor venue. Shaun, along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to If You Love Her by Forest Blakk, followed by Shawntee who walked down the aisle to the same song. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith celebrated together while singing Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. The reception area was held on the sand, complete with a swimming pool and a tiki bar. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle under a beautiful pergola as we all welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith to If You Love Her First by Forest Blakk. Shaun and Shawntee then embraced each other for their first dance to I’ll Be by Edwin McCain followed by a very entertaining father daughter dance to Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman. During dinner, I played a some motown and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of 90s hip hop, and dance music for all the guests to enjoy.
