Summer and Connor's love story unfolded against the scenic backdrop Long Key Nature Center in Davie on January 31st. Family members gathered under a large oak tree in the misty rain to watch the couple exchange vows. Summer walked down the aisle to a classical piece played beautifully by the string quartet in attendance. After the cocktail hour, guests were invited indoors to the reception room complete with 20 wireless LED up lights set to soft white before the newlyweds walked in hand-in-hand celebrating to Love Sosa by Chief Keef. Connor then joined his wife for their first dance to Love Comes Easy by Thee Sacred Souls. Following the first dance, I invited the couple to take their seats and we toasted to the new Mr. and Mrs. McBrae! Summer then danced with her father to Suds in the Bucket by Sara Evans before I invited Connor to join his mother to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. Following the parent’s dances, everyone enjoyed their dinner before a very entertaining cake cutting ceremony featuring a friendly and hilarious knife fight to Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. After the cake cutting the dance floor was open and filled up almost instantly for a beautifully curated dance set for the families to enjoy. Congratulations Summer and Connor - You guys were so much fun! Best of luck to you! - DJ ELOW
