Wedding Reception at Margaritaville

Samantha and Dax Dellenbach celebrated their wedding at the Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood, FL on 4/27/2024.  Approximately 125 close friends and family members arrived to the resort and were directed to the 11th floor for the ceremony and cocktail hour.  After a perfect ceremony, all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while Sam and Dax posed for pictures with immediate family members.  I played a mix of tropical tunes and also took the time to decorate the ballroom.  Myself and Leonard decorated the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names and the date) and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Samantha chose several different songs for all of the bridal party couples then they came roaring into the reception to Good Life by Kanye.  The first dance was to Take Forever by Cooper Alan then Sam danced with her dad to a mix of My Little Girl by T. McGraw and Centerfield by John Fogarty and Dax danced with his mom to Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet/station style meal but not before the toasts.  Arielle (MOH), Dailey (sister of the groom) and Mr. Strum (FOB) gave the toasts and welcoming speeches and the reception was in full swing.  Samantha did provide me with a great playlist that included top 40, country dance hits, 90s and 2000s bangers and disco classics.  Perfect mix of genres for this very up/beat group of guests.  The dance floor filled up very quickly and it remained that way for the rest of the evening.  The happy couple did have a cake cutting ceremony but it was the dance floor and the photo booth were most of the night was spent.  The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night Margaritaville wedding.
