Wedding Reception at Margaritaville
Sarah and Tyler Trice celebrated their wedding at the Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood, FL on 6/28/2024. This wedding had it all!!! The ceremony which was witnessed by approximately 80 close friends and family members, was held on the 11th floor pool deck over-looking the Atlantic Ocean. After a perfect ceremony all of the guests were invited to the 9th floor lobby for the cocktail hour. I played a mix of Jimmy Buffet style favorites while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Leonard took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names) and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Sarah chose Int'l Players Anthem by Outkast for the bridal party intros and Hot by Young Thug for her and Tyler's intro. The first dance was to Nobody by Brian McKnight then Sarah danced with her dad to You'll Be In My Heart by P. Collins and Tyler danced with his mom to That's What Friends Are For by D. Warwick. The toasts were given by Bob (FOB), Rachel (MOH), Josh Richardson (BM) and Gabriel and Elyssa (bridal party) then Minister Ernest gave the blessing of the meals. The first of a 3 course meal was ready to be served and the reception was under way. Tyler did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic hip-hop and R&B and current rap. Perfect mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests. The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner and it remained that way until it was time for the cake cutting. I played a few couples songs and took request for 70s disco hits that worked great. We ended the evening with 2 song that are very special to Sarah and Tyler which were Dear God by Avenged SevenFold and Don't Leave Me by Blackstreet...PERFECT ENDING TO A PERFECT WEDDING!!
