Wedding Reception at Margaritaville

Karley and Zach Newman celebrated their wedding at the Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood, FL on 7/26/2024.  Approximately 65 close friends and family members arrived to the venue and were directed to the 11th floor for the ceremony.  After the happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss, everyone was invited to the 9th floor for the cocktail hour and reception.  During the cocktail hour I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  Myself and Leonard took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names and the date) and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 20 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Karley chose Forever by Chris Brown for the bridal party intros and Congratulations by Post Malone for her and Zach's intro.  The first dance was to You're Still The One by Teddy Swims then Karley danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Zach danced with his mom to Perfect Fan by The Backstreet Boys.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  During dinner, Jimmy and Andre (BM), Amanda (MOH) and Dan (BOB) gave the toasts.  The action on the dance floor got hot after dinner!!! I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s hip-hop and country favorites.  Amazing energy from this very fun group of guests that only took a break for the cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss) and they also requested group/line dances.  There was a dessert station for all to enjoy and the Photo Booth was very busy as the evening progressed.  The closing song for the evening was Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet and that put a bow on a fabulous Friday night wedding.
