Melissa and Kris Kardok celebrated their dream wedding at the Parkland C.C. in Parkland, FL on 3/7/2015. The ceremony took place at a nearby church where approximately 130 close friends and relatives witnessed a beautiful exchange of vows. As soon as the ceremony ended, all of the guests were invited to the Parkland C.C. for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests arrived at the club they were treated to drinks, appetizers and a mix of Rat Pack favorites. Melissa and Kris took the time to pose for pictures with the bridal party and immediate family members while I decorated the ballroom. I set up 24 amber colored, LED, wireless, up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. The room looked incredible as all of the guests made their way in and prepared for the grand entrance. I lined up the 20 member bridal party and had them enter to the Miami Heat intro song by Seven Nation Army. The crowd went wild as Melissa and Kris entered the room and went right into their first dance. They danced to a mix of two songs, one was Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheerin and Sway by Michael Buble. Melissa then danced with her dad to another special mix and Kris danced with his mom to Hero by Mariah Carey. After the first course was served, Kelly (maid of honor) and Ryan (best man) gave the toasts then both dads gave the welcoming speeches. Melissa and Kris did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, disco, country and alternative. I did take a few requests for the group dances and for some oldies. The garter/bouquet toss and cake cutting were performed as the evening progressed but the dance floor was busy the entire night. As the evening came to a close I played Last Dance by Donna Summer and Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble. Great ending to an amazing wedding. Congrats to Melissa, Kris and the entire Kardok and Pina families. Special thanks to the staff at the Parkland C.C. for their excellent service as usual!!
